Our pledge for Anti-Bullying Week 2026

Anti-Bullying Week 2026 will take place from Monday 16 to Friday 20 November, with the theme ‘Break the Silence’. It’s a call to action: to name what’s happening, to speak up, and to break the silence that bullying thrives in.

What BRA is planning

Break the Silence: Community Vigil

On Tuesday 17 November at 6pm, we’re hosting a community vigil in Centenary Square, Birmingham. An evening of testimony, music, and shared commitment to end bullying in our schools. Free and open to all.

School assemblies

Throughout the week, our trained ambassadors will be delivering assemblies in schools across the UK — designed for KS2-KS5, with real stories at the centre. If your school would like to host an assembly, get in touch.

Social media campaign

We’ll be sharing stories from young people, parents, and educators throughout the week on our Instagram and Facebook. Follow along and share to help us reach more people.

Resource launch

We’re launching 5 new resource articles during Anti-Bullying Week, covering topics from identity-based bullying to recovering from cyberbullying. They’ll be available on our Resources page.

How you can get involved

  • Attend the vigil — 17 November, 6pm, Centenary Square, Birmingham
  • Host an assembly — contact us if your school wants to participate
  • Share our content — follow @thebracic on Instagram and share our posts
  • Wear odd socks — Odd Socks Day is part of Anti-Bullying Week; wear mismatched socks to celebrate difference
  • Donate — help us reach more young people during this important week

Key takeaway

Anti-Bullying Week reaches 7.5 million children in the UK each year. Help us make 2026 the loudest yet.
